Island Diesel & Automotive is a locally owned, family run business. Our mechanic, Scott has over 20 years experience in the mechanical repair industry providing him with a wealth of knowledge and appreciation for quality service and attention to detail. Our office is currently run by his wife, Emma. With over 20 years experience in administration, she comes with a smile and wonderful customer service.
Our beginning to now...
Scott started out his mechanical career in the light vehicle trade, winning apprentice of the year for his excellence and diligence.
After working with cars for several years, Scott pursued a career as a fitter, repairing and maintaining mining machinery and equipment.
With all of Scott's knowledge, we felt it was time that we gave back to the community that we love by providing a high quality service for excellent prices.
Business Mission Statement
To provide our motorists and industries of Boyne Island, Tannum Sands and Gladstone with reliable mechanical (equipment &) repair services performed at the highest standard possible in a safety focused and timely manner. To also actively engage with, and support local businesses and clubs as to promote a stronger, productive and successful BITS community.
